You can have the look and feel of a very expensive car while still being conservative in these economic times. At Harwell Motor Company we have tons of cars and trucks that are both affordable and still collectable. While a Hemi Cuda is a great collectable investment there are other more affordable muscle cars that will still get you noticed at the drive in. For instance, this 68 Mustang coupe is about as nice as they come and still an affordable muscle car. It is fuel injected and very well restored all while staying in the $22k price range. You can get 70's and 80s mustangs and camaros very reasonably right now as well. Call us anytime if you are a shopper on a budget. We can help.

All American Muscle Car

Isn't a 69 Camaro about as All American as you can get? It reminds me of putting on a letter jacket and meeting up with the girls after the football game. The days of cruising up and down the street for no apparent reason.

This '69 SS sports a 396 Big Block V8 an awesome hugger orange paint scheme and an awesome hounds tooth interior. (She's pretty darn fast too!) If this is a car that interests you then call Hunter Smith @ 940-367-7658

Oh My God!!!

John bought this car a few weeks ago and I really didn't know what to think about it. I walked past it every day for the past few weeks and just couldn't get past how big this car was. That was until yesterday. A customer came in and wanted to test drive it. After driving this car "Oh My God!!!" was the only thing I could get myself to say for a while. This car is completely Badass! I wasn't sure about what a big block 428 cobra jet would do in this car, but I shouldn't have worried. I have driven Ferraris, Corvettes, Porsches you name it, but this car is definately in that high performance class. It is fast. The brakes work great, it shifts great and I'm completely impressed.

This 1969 Ford Cobra is prioced right at $33,900 call John for more info or call me Hunter for a first hand account of my white knuckled test drive 940-891-4000. The car is still available and ready to roll.

Victory!!

This past weekend we at Harwell Motor Company we participated in the annual Arts, Antiques and Automobiles Car Show in Denton, TX on the historic square. While Hurricane Ivan Pounded the coast down south we were having a good time and winning Best of Show with one of the six cars we took to the show. The Plymouth GTX took Best of Show honors this year and it was tough to clean up after being drooled on all day. We want to thank the Denton Mainstreet Assn. for putting on another quality show and we hope to see you all again next year.

Ferrari

We have a lot of really cool cars at Harwell Motor Co., but whenever we go out for a ride there is always one kind of car that attracts more attention than any of them. The Ferrari of course. Something about a Ferrari stirs up everyone's imagination. Whether it is their Magnum PI or Miami Vice fantasies I can't say for sure, but it really gets people going. There are very few cars that can make people act crazy, but the Ferrari does it like you wouldn't believe. We always try to carry something a little exotic and right now we are focusing our efforts on the Ferrari 360 Modena. The 360 is a very drivable Ferrari that still has that exotic look and is quite a bit more user friendly than some of Ferrari's other models. Service is quite a bit easier and the resale value is good too. For more information on this blue Modena pictured or any of our other exotics please call John Ray @940-206-3020. This one is a steal at $79,900

Trans Am Series

In its Heyday from 1968 through 1972 the Sports Car Club Of America sanctioned the Tans-American Sedan Championship that limited its competitors engines to 305 5.0 liter engines. The manufacturers took this "Pony" car division very seriously. Chevy entered the Z28 Camaro, Ford the Boss 302 Mustang, Plymouth the AAR Cuda, Dodge the ChallengerTA, Pontiac entered the aptly named Trans Am, and of course AMC with the Javelin.

While this series doesn't have much relevance to today's racing scene. It is definitely made its mark historically. We have lots of TA series cars available like this original 69 Boss 302 and many more call John @ 940-206-3020 for more information.

Our Latest Car Show

Once again we had a successful car show this last weekend and we would like to thank everyone who participated. The folks at Hooters were gracious as usual and we had a great time. Participation wasn't as big as we have had in the past, but the quality of the cars at the show was top notch. We do this show on the third Saturday afternoon of each month so come see us in September.
